DISCOVER THE RAINBOW SHEEP

I created “Vulvitas” as a way to bring up body autonomy and sexual health awareness in a variety of settings. Each Vulvita is hand crafted in small batches, so each Vulvita is given the intent and love it deserves while being birthed into existence.

These small 3D sculptures create an open door for conversation to flow. One of the most common interactions I have seen is someone will ask in shock “is that a vagina?!?”. I take this moment to educate them on simple terminology by saying “No actually it’s a vulva” and many people do not know what a vulva is.

Countless women have been shocked to realize that they have been referring to a part of their body in an inaccurate way. Sometimes that interaction stops there as they take away the new knowledge. My hope is to get society to think about why we are ashamed of our bodies, why we give our body parts “cute names”, or why its offensive to talk about them.
