Hear It From Me

Kitsune Marie is a local North Carolina artist, spending most of her adult life in the diverse ecosystems of North Carolina, she pulls influence from the structured calm of the mountains and the ebb and flow of the ocean. Her roots in New Mexico still deeply influence her art with vibrancy and a sense of mystery.

Her goal in sharing the unique vision of our world is of awakening other souls. By influencing others to simply question an agreement we have made with this reality. She hopes to carry a spark from the eternal flame into the lives of those who may wield it correctly. A small piece of her awareness comes from statement art. She is also building an online presence to bring together more community support. Kitsune Marie created “Vulvitas” as a way to bring up body awareness in a variety of settings. Each Vulvita is hand crafted with the intent of love and awareness applied. These 3D sculptures are made in small batches, so each Vulvita is given the intent and love it deserves while being birthed into existence.

As a Mexican American woman, she has faced her own strife with diversity. Being openly polyamorous, struggling with mental health, surviving from narcissistic abuse, all while raising a toddler have strengthened her passion for awareness. Kitsune Marie also hopes to connect others in alternative lifestyles, as each and every person who has pursued an alternative lifestyle has gone through their own journey into self-awareness and each one is just as beautiful, valid, and important so share as the next.
